Guestbook for Dolores Jean Campbell Showing 1 - 5 of 15 entries.

Dear Colis, Letty Bou, and Satty Pue,
Mary Ruth and I have you all in our hearts and prayers today. May you keep resting in the loving arms of Jesus.

We both have our health problems, battling feebleness and the usual grunts and pains, but we're still perking right along. We now live with Joe Emery, about 3 miles from our last home.
We would love to hear from you!

When I married in 1968 I was Mabrey Miller's secretary and Dolores and I worked together every day for 2 years. She was a mentor and sort of mother figure to me. I thought she was one of the coolest people I knew. I think she hosted a baby shower for me, and I know I was at her house for someone else's shower when her poodle gave birth to puppies, one of which Charles & Pam White adopted. I remember she taught me all the Cradle Roll songs and the little kids all called her Camel. She helped we women begin to wear slacks to church; must've been 68 or 69. She was a grand lady and I am proud to have known and loved her. Judy

I have been very blessed in my life, to have known spiritual giants. Among the first giants I met as a York College student were "Coach and DC."
Coach, I know that you miss your beautiful DC. Thank you for sharing her with us. Every time I remember either of you, I smile.
To borrow from a previous writer,
"Thank you, oh, thank you."

Although neither David nor I were involved in sports Dolores and Collis touched our lives when we were students. The sacrifices that the York College family made for all of us has always been the example I have tried to aspire too. God bless the family and give them comfort.
