Bryan Andersen the son of Gene and Gloria (Shuck) Andersen was born December 21, 1954 in Superior, Nebraska. He departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2009 at the age of 54 years.
Bryan attended Ong elementary school and graduated from Shickley High School in 1973. He furthered his education by attending Central Community College in Hastings NE. Bryan worked to Andersen Tree & Lawn service and also ran Starz Karoke and at the time of his death he was employed at Shuck Drilling of Edgar, NE. Bryan had been married to Paula Jacobson in 1974 and to this union three children were born, Nicole, Kelly and Brent. This marriage ended in divorce. Bryan met his wife Rebecca in Yuma, AZ and moved to Ong in 1990 and the couple was married on the Ong Fire Truck in 1993.
Bryan served as a Lyons Club Member, town water and sewer man, and various abligations for the Town of Ong including serving as EMT and Fire Chief for 20 years.
Survivors include his parents Gene & Gloria Andersen of Ong, NE wife; Rebecca Andersen of Ong, NE, sons: Kelly Andersen and wife Chntel of Hebron, NE and Brent Andersen and wife Jodi of Kearney, NE, daughters Nicole Andersen and fiancé Mark Clouse of Red Cloud, NE, and Amie Cissell and husband Mike of Lincoln, NE; brother John Andersen and wife Zoe of Lincoln, NE, sisters Vickie Schoenholz and husband Kevin of Bruning, NE and Crystal Andersen of Lincoln, NE, PawPaw to: Gracie Andersen, Emma Andersen, Olivia Andersen, Brayden Andersen, Bryce Andersen, Erin Cissell, Heidi Schoenhals, Liz Schoenhals, Bryon Schoenhals, great PawPaw to Gracelyn Martin, Ella Martin and one yet to be delivered; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday 2:00 PM, December 22, 2009 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Edgar. Pastor Dorothy Aspergren officiated. Burial was at the Ong Cemetery.
